Alinafe Chibwana is the Executive Director of CRECCOM. She has over 20 years of experience in implementing health-related projects through education, training, service provision, microfinance, and research. She has a master’s degree in public health obtained from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, and she is also a holder of a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Malawi. She has successfully led consortiums in providing technical and programmatic leadership, direction, support, and oversight to various programs. She continues managing big projects from various donors focusing on health for all ages, inclusive quality education, climate change resilience, child protection and youth development, gender equality and women development, institutional strengthening, and social and political accountability. At the International level, she was awarded a clinical research fellowship in Australia (2012-2013) and has also published some of her work in peer-reviewed journals.
