Ahmed Abubakar Moh’d is a Doctoral student pursuing his PhD in Economics program at the Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, Malaysia. Under the supervision of Prof. Gazi Nurul Islam, his research aims to examine the Blue Economy and governance of small-scale fisheries and their interconnection to vulnerability. One aspect of his research involves analyzing the governing institutions as possible sources of vulnerability and pathways towards viability. He obtained a Master’s in Business Administration in International Business. He has eleven years of working experience in the management of commercial banks. He is currently working with the Officer in charge of First Vice President Zanzibar. Ahmed also is actively engaged in business consultancy and entrepreneurship.
