I am an Early Career Researcher and a part of the Future Earth family. I do research on the Blue Economy (BE) and the empowerment of coastal vulnerable communities e.g., women in the global south. I use a transdisciplinary approach to ocean sustainability, to co-design sustainable interventions and nature-based solutions in complex settings/systems, based on the perspectives and narratives of vulnerable micro-level communities/people. I have published over 13 articles in reputable journals. I am a recipient of notable research awards such as the 2024 PICES, the 2023 Marine Policy Research Grant, & 2022 ABCD Global Future Environmental Leaders Fellowship, among others. I am a collaborating researcher with the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) and Taiwan National Ocean University.
