Dr. Fama Gueye is a Postdoctoral Scholar working under the supervision of Prof. Fatou Gueye in the Development Policy Analysis Laboratory (LAPD) at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD), Senegal. She is also a temporary lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Management (FASEG) at UCAD. Her research focuses on sustainable development, environmental and natural resource economics, agriculture, and econometrics. Fama holds a PhD degree in Economics and Climate Change from the University of Dakar and a Master's in Agricultural Economics and Policy from Ouaga 2 University (Université Ouaga II), Burkina Faso. She has recently completed a research residency at the University of Virginia (USA) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) program/Regulatory Development Unit. Since April 2020 she has been working on the WASCAL H2 Atlas project: Hydrogen Generation Potentials in Africa: A technological, environmental and socioeconomic feasibility assessment.
