Joyce Baaba Sekyi

Joyce Sekyi is a Master’s of Environmental Studies student in Sustainability Management at SEED, of Waterloo. Her research aims to employ the V2V I-AdApT framework to investigate the “Adaptive responses of small-scale fishers in Akwidaa - Ghana to the vulnerabilities resulting from crude oil extraction”. With the support of her supervisor, Prof. Prateep Kumar Nayak, her research will not only provide knowledge on issues of vulnerabilities among fishers but also enhance policy-making decisions and social investments project plans of governments across the world as well as oil and gas companies.
