Joykrishno Chondra Biswashorma

Joykrishno Chondra Biswashorma is a graduate student currently enrolled at Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh, pursuing his master's degree in Coastal and Marine Fisheries under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Mahmudul Islam. He is enthusiastic about studying maritime issues with specific research interests in the blue economy, marine non-conventional fishery, and biodiversity conservation. He recently published a book chapter on community-based fishers organizations of Bangladesh published by the TBTI global book series. In the master’s thesis, he will assess important biological, economic, and social sustainability aspects of cephalopod fishery and its value chain in southeastern coastal Bangladesh.
