Kappo Ayorinde is a PhD student in the Department of Fisheries at the Lagos State University, Nigeria. He is pursuing his graduate degree under the supervision of Prof. Shehu Akintola and Prof. Kafayat Fakoya. His research interests include aquatic remote sensing, oceanography, climate change, land cover monitoring, small-scale fisheries governance. He is very passionate about fisheries and currently carrying out research on climate change vulnerability and its impact on small-scale coastal fisheries in Lagos State. Kappo has actively been involved in producing Nigeria Situation Analysis of Small-scale Fisheries for the V2V global partnership and is also involved in the country I-ADApT case study. He is also skilled in Remote sensing and GIS as he is holding a Master's degree in Geo-information and Environmental Management. Kappo has also several years of experience as a GIS training facilitator for governmental and non-governmental organizations. He was part of land use land cover mapping for South West, Nigeria, and the flood vulnerability mapping of South West, Nigeria.
