Kwamina Nyarku

Kwamina Nyarku is a graduate student pursuing his Masters in Environmental Studies in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo, Canada, under the supervision of Dr. Prateep Kumar Nayak. He completed his Bachelor of Arts - Majoring in Geography and Resource Development and Archaeology at the University of Ghana. He has tutored and mentored high school students for the past 15 years. Alongside, he has undertaken numerous volunteer projects with Ghana Voluntary Workcamps Association, Ghana Wildlife Society and Friends of the National Zoo. This has equipped him to understand the importance of environmental conservation and community partnerships employing transdisciplinary collaboration . For now he is interested in sustainable strategy, policy and governance and youth engagement and wants the environment preserved.
