Pallavi Padmanav has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Utkal University and a Master’s in Environmental Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Currently, She is a PhD student at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai in Climate Studies department under the supervision of Dr. D. Parthasarathy. Her work deals with assessment of socio-ecological vulnerability from combined impacts of climate change and environmental degradation focusing on artisanal fishers of Mumbai. She has the experience of working on projects such as Inhabited Sea, UPenn, Photovoice- Mumbai Chapter etc. She is keen at looking into ecosystem services, ecosystem restoration and, Nature Based solutions for coastal cities.
