Raymie Bin Nurhasan is a PhD student in Fisheries Science at the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He is also working as a Fisheries Improvement Officer at the WWF-Malaysia based in Tun Mustapha Park, focusing on the improvement of the fisheries. He works with various backgrounds of stakeholders, small-scale fishers, private and government agencies to improve the park fisheries management through certain efforts such as conducting fisheries stock assessment, focus group discussion, public consultation with fishing communities. He is currently focusing on the impact of climate change and the resilience of the fisheries that will benefit the fisheries management in the future. He received his Masters of Marine Science from University Malaysia Sarawak.
