Renuka recently completed her M.Sc. in Environmental Science at Pondicherry University, where her dissertation focused on land use and land cover change analysis of Puducherry using GIS and remote sensing. Currently, Renuka is working as a GIS intern at Dakshin Foundation, Bangalore. Her research interests lie in GIS and remote sensing applications for environmental studies. Her connection with V2V began when she participated in the Winter V2V Field School at Kolleru Lake in December 2024. As part of the "Vulnerabilities to Viabilities" theme, she engaged with local communities to understand the socio-environmental challenges of aquaculture and fish farming. Additionally, Renuka contributed by creating a study area map for her group presentation, reinforcing the passion for GIS.
