Richard Nyiawung

I am an interdisciplinary marine social scientist. I have more than 8 years of practical career experience small-scale fisheries management and governance, social inclusion, gender, climate change, and value chain analysis. I have worked and collaborated with diverse stakeholders, policymakers, and communities’ partners on strategic policy actions and projects in several countries in the Global South. My research interest are in livelihoods, response pathways to shocks and stress, and the overall governance of SSF.
