Samuel Abalansa

Samuel Abalansa holds a degree in Zoology from the University of Ghana. He furthered his expertise through the Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Water and Coastal Management, earning dual master's degrees: one in Water and Coastal Management from the University of Cadiz in Spain, and another in Environmental Assessment from the University of Bologna in Italy. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the University of Waterloo, where his research focusses on the impact of plastic pollution on the small-scale fisheries sector. Abalansa's work aims to address the environmental and economic challenges posed by plastic pollution in marine ecosystems and fisheries.
