Shahriyer Hossain Shetu is a graduate student pursuing his Master of Environmental Studies in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo. His research focuses on the evolution and conceptualization of the "Vulnerability to Viability" (V2V) network, emphasizing its thematic developments, practical applications, and future directions. By utilizing secondary data and conducting global virtual interviews with network partners, he aims to synthesize insights from V2V’s webinars, working projects, and academic contributions. He previously earned his undergraduate degree in English and Humanities from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), graduating with Summa Cum Laude, the highest distinction. Shahriyer is passionate about writing poetry, fiction, and opinion pieces and is particularly interested in blending literature with sociology to offer innovative perspectives on societal challenges and human narratives. His broader academic interests include small-scale fisheries, gender dynamics, sustainability, and water.
