Siva Sankararao Mallavarapu

S Sankararao Mallavarapu is a researcher focusing on coastal resilience futures in Kolleru Lake, Andhra Pradesh, under the guidance of Dr. Bala Nikku at Thompson Rivers University, Canada. He holds a Ph.D. from Andhra University, with a thesis titled "Reflection of Women's Issues in Print Media: A Case Study of Eenadu." His research interests include Development Communication, Social Exclusion, Gender Communication, and Media Studies. Siva Sankararao has received the ICSSR fellowship for his study on newspaper coverage of violence against women and has worked on several research projects. His experience includes roles as a Lecturer in Journalism and as a Research Coordinator at the Dalit Bahujan Resource Centre, Guntur.
