Souradip Pathak

Souradip Pathak is a PhD Scholar and EqUIP Fellow, works at Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur under the supervision of Prof. Jenia Mukherjee. He is currently focusing on the environment and activism in the Dry Fish Sector in Indian Sundarbans Delta. He received his M.Sc. in Human Rights and B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics from the University of Calcutta. He has been pursuing his research on the areas of environment, ecology and human rights with special focus on the East Kolkata Wetlands, Indian Sundarbans since he started his graduate studies. Souradip is a qualified UGC-NET in Human Rights and Duties. He also worked as Winter-Intern at National Human Rights Commission, India (2015-16) and Research Investigator at CCR, West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (in partnership with UNICEF).
